Political turmoil simmers in the background of this vibrant and bold feature debut by Olive Nwosu about sisterhood, survival, and transformation. The film was awarded the Special Jury Award for Acting Ensemble at Sundance this year. With a soundtrack ranging from Little Simz to Fela Kuti, the film sounds just as good as it looks.
